In addition, this area has numerous smaller hills which
are said to be "the finest in the country" and
in many ways superior to the glamorous Munros that look
down upon them. Hills like Foinaven, Arkle, Ben Stack and Ben Hee are close to the hotel with others like Suilven, and Quineag and Ben Loyal just a short drive away.
Ben Leoid (792m) sits just at the head of Loch Shin and offers a spectacular panorama of the surrounding country.
